2 boxes yellow cake mix (generic works great)
2 sticks butter (not margarine)
2 tablespoons water
2 large eggs
1 12-ounce bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
Melt butter in microwave. Mix butter and cake mix. Beat in the water and eggs. Add chocolate chips.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
So my thoughts? Krissy has become very active in Cameron's school (PTO). Last movie night, she baked these cookies and she and Cameron took some to Papa, who works at Cameron's school at night.
Rob (Rob to me, Papa to Cameron :) came home and told me, "Get Krissy's recipe for those cookies - they're great!"
They're very rich and very, very good.
I'd show you the photo that's currently stuck in my camera, but my camera battery finally (after 7 years) died, and I can't download photos until I replace it.
But trust me, these are good, good cookies. Simple. 5 ingredients. I will warn you, the dough is very stiff to work with. But don't worry about that too much. Just plop spoonfuls onto the cookie sheet and they'll be fine.
You know, it occurs to me....this recipe calls for simple yellow cake mix and chocolate chips. But what if you were to try a different cake mix? Like, say, carrot cake? And maybe raisins instead of chocolate chips?
I think the possibilities are endless.
