Enjoying my little read and then absolutely snorting when I get to, "Barbie just doesn't think that deeply"....
Oh, Barb...you kill me.
She looks great though. But I AM opposed to spending more on Barbie's shoes than mine. After all, her feet are only 1 inch long. Tops.

"Barbie doesn't think that deeply"...you are a hoot! And yes, I clicked over to see the boots and luckily they just don't look like grandma boots cause that price would kill me. ;)
I still have the Barbie clothes that my grandma made and the ones my mom knit for me and treasure them greatly. It will be fun to see what you create.

Barbie looks smashing. Pink is definitely her color. She looks warm and cozy if it were not for those bare feet. I doubt she can afford those wonderful Choo boots. Maybe a pair of pink furry ones to match her coat :)
P.S. Maybe Barbie could go to the groomer. She needs to do something with that hair.

I LOVE Barbie's outfit! LOVE IT!! It's just gorgeous.
I wish you could come visit NYC to see Strawberry Fields in Central Park. (Or perhaps you've been before?) This is a beautiful section of the park created as a tribute to John Lennon, with an Imagine mosaic right in the middle. Any day of the year, the mosaic covered in flowers. Tourists come on a daily basis to pay their respects to John Lennon. It's pretty incredible.

So glad you posted these before Friday when we get paid and can go grocery shopping.
I'm picking at least two to take to our Super Bowl party at church.
This was a better stop any day than that old Martha Stewart. Barb -- the party-planner-place-to-be. : )

Yum. I LOVE crab rangoon. I ate them the entire time I was pregnant. Apparently, the hormones have lingered all these years later. :>)

So I don't watch the Super Bowl, but I can certainly eat all these wonderful goodies! I remember Geoff sitting up through the night to watch though, and believe me, he did not have such amazing things to eat!

Bless Rob's heart, he does know the way to your heart by now, doesn't he? That sounds like a great devotional.
I know what you mean about online businesses. Several have missed out on making a sale to me because of their weird payment requirements.
Baby monkeys, eh? Hmmm....velly inter-estink, LOL! ;o)
I forget exactly how many posts I'm up to now, but next week is my 3 year blogiversary. I don't have anything in particular planned right now, but maybe something will come to me in the meantime.
I can tell you had a kid-free day 'cause you got this up on Saturday night instead of Monday morning. ;o)
Hope your pork chops turn out great. I'm thinking about trying that myself.
Have a great Sunday, Barb, and find some time to just "be" in there somewhere.
(Diane could use our prayers right now - she lives in Arkansas and has been hit hard by the ice storms. As far as I know she's still without power.)

What a fun post Barb! I'm so glad you found the advent calendar - I can't wait to get going on mine.
Bring the Rain is an amazing blog - Angie can write beautifully and she is so inspiring. Such a strong and steady faith for one so young.
I LOVE the idea of baby sock monkeys!
I'm busy, busy and couldn't think of a single thing to post today, so I let YOU do the talkin'. :-)

What a fab idea! I love this, Barb. And party or no party, you've inspired me to make those olives for Sunday afternoon.
You are one smart cookie!
Clever girl, Barbtha. And how honored was I to be on the list?!!!
We're having a little Super Bowl to do, so you know I'll be printing out that entire post.
Wasn't that just FUN! It was! It was just fun! Thanks for doin' that.
I am talkin' particularly southern today because I am doin' a Beth Moore study and isn't she just contagious??
I need to listen to some Sarah Palin and get my nasal on instead.
Fun comments!
I was glad to see at Bev's place that your mom is doing okay - that was a couple of days ago - hope she still is.
Thanks for the prayer request. I need it! I just emailed you the details but it's really bad here. Awful! Our power went off Tuesday and just came back on a little before midnight last night, then internet came back on at 8 am this morning, praise God!
It's about as bad as it can get here and I have a lot to do today catching up laundry and trying to replace groceries that I had to throw out, clean the fridge and freezer out before restocking it (hopefully!) and so much more.
Love you my friend, and thanks again for your concern.
Diane
What a fun post and great idea!
