Ready? A giveaway!

A VERY GENTLE REMINDER: If your comment leads me to nowhere, then you're not actually entered. If you're not sure, please go to the comment you left and click on yourself. Several are leading me nowhere. All you have to do is put your email address in your comment. Sorry, but I want everyone to have an equal chance here.

Meet Debbie Macomber.
Does she not look like someone you'd love to live next door to?

Quick! What do Barb and Debbie have in common?
Answer: They each have one grandchild. A boy. Named Cameron!

I've been a fan forever. Her books are comforting. I've read everything she's ever written and one of my all time favorites is her Cedar Cove series. I've read the six book series twice so I'm OK with clearing a little space on my bookshelves by offering this set as a giveaway.

Here are the six books in the set:

16 Lighthouse Road
204 Rosewood Lane
311 Pelican Court
44 Cranberry Point
50 Harbor Street
6 Ranier Drive

Note the first number in the street addresses. Yeah. I was into the fourth book before I caught on. LOL

This drawing is for one prize. Whoever wins this giveaway will receive the entire six book set.

Here are some cool links.

You can visit Debbie's official web site here.

You can read her personal blog here.

And you can read all about the Cedar Cove series here.

If you'd like to enter to win this set, please leave a comment. Please be sure I can contact you through your comment.

I'll close comments (and entries) Friday evening at 8 p.m. Depending on the response, I'm pretty sure I won't be writing each entry on a little slip of paper and then cutting and folding each one and dumping it into my pasta bowl. LOL

I'll use this handy dandy random number generator to draw one winner.

Good luck!

Aunt Barb,
What a great idea! And, don't feel bad; it took me a minute to figure out the "first number" thing even once you'd pointed it out.

Hope all is going well. Love you!

What a fun giveaway! I've just started reading Debbie Macomber. I started with her books, "The Shop on Blossom Street" and "A Good Yarn". What a lovely writer she is!

Thanks for your generosity!

Well, sure...I'll bite! I've never read any of Debbie's books, and I'm always looking for new authors.

Barb, you're the one who turned me on to Dorothea Benton Frank. I think I've read most everything by her now! What enjoyable reads!

WOW! What a giveaway! These sound wonderful and I am always up for a new read!!

Especially now since I've scheduled personal reading time into my summer schedule!! :-)

I can't believe you are going to part with those...read twice are "keepers" for me!!
I've got her "Country Brides" in my TBR pile...it is a reprint from 1990 which burns me just a tad as they made it look like a "new" book with a new cover and all...it's really a twofer as it is two stories!
Concerning your comment back at my place...books are usually way better than movies aren't they??
:)

Okay, I'm a glutton for punishment - another prize not to win! But maybe my luck will change this time. I'm always up for a new series. I'm rereading all of Earlene Fowler right now and I can't believe how much I can forget! I just love her - have you read her? Not Christian fiction per se, but she is a Christian. Great mysteries.

Karen said...

Yes, put my name in the hat -- er, bowl! I've read just a couple of Debbie's books, but have so enjoyed them. Gotta go look at the number thing again -- I'm a little slow.

I would love a new author to read - I've never read Debbie before. Of course, I don't usually win contests, so I will look for them at the library too.
I like your number idea - I'm sure it will take ALOT less of your time - time you could be spending making sweet things for your new grandbaby!

The FIRST number! NOW I get it! (I know, if all else fails, re-read the directions).

I have never read any of her books, but my best friend, who is also an avid reader, has recommended her to me many times. What a great way to get started enjoying her books. On a serendipitous note, tonight I brought home one of her books from my mother-in-law's house. She passed away unexpectedly a couple of weeks ago and we are now going through the last few boxes and books and I chose one of Debbie Macomber's books to bring home. Wow! I am thinking I should definitely read her books! Thanks for the give-a-way, I hope I win!

I am a stay-at-home Mother of five and do not get to do much reading. Last week I just randomly picked up 74 Seaside Avenue while at the grocery store because it was on the bestsellers list. It laid around the house for a few days before I even started it. Once I started reading it, I could not put it down! It is such a grest book! I was left hanging though and I am looking everywhere for the rest of the books. What a great escape these books are for me. I hope I win!!!!!!!!
